I had a wonderful time at VBS ("school") last week. Thank you to everyone who made it a wonderful success! Here's some photos of the week...with our theme song (thanks to my cousin Phillip)!

Peter...Walking on the Water

A cute story, that must be shared with all!! Today I picked up Samantha from VBS and having asked the teacher this morning what the lesson was about, I knew just what questions to ask.
So I said, "Did you learn about Peter today?"
Samantha replied, "Yes!"
"What did Peter do?"
She said, "Um, he walked on the water." You go girl, I thought to myself!! She's actually learning something. I was so proud.
So I kept asking, "Where did Peter go when he was walking on the water?"
Samantha replied, "Well," pause, "He went to McDonalds"!!
So there you have it...from the Bible Scholar herself! Not sure if it will preach or not, but it sure was cute!

Weekly Update - VBS

Hi everybody! We've been sooo busy this week...I'm going to Vacation Bible School with Larry the Cucumber!! We are having so much fun. I'm learning how to be a hero for God! Mommy is taking lots of pictures so we will have a nice video at the end of the week. Here's what we've learned so far....

Happy Father's Day Daddy!

Hi everybody! Mommy helped us make a little video tribute to our daddy! He's the best. We cant wait until he comes home from work every day...we race to the door to greet him every night! We had so much fun last week riding in his truck driving through all the flooded roads after the big rain! Its almost 5 minutes long, so it may take some time to load....Enjoy!

Craft Time

Hi everybody! Here is a little clip of our craft time...today mommy finally let my buy some water color paints. i have been wanting to paint for quite some time, but she said it was too messy. The color on the video is not the best because we do our crafts at the kitchen table and stephanie and i stand in the bay window, so the glare from the sun has washed out the picture. Stephanie doesnt really do a whole lot during craft time except make funny faces and funny noises. sometimes she talks to the birds outside! Enjoy!

It's Official...She's Walking!

Hi everybody! Well, the day has come where Stephanie has chosen walking as her main mode of transportation. Still a little wobbly...but doing very well...even carrying her blanket. Pretty soon I'll be chasing her all over the house...or she'll be chasing me!!

Hair

Samantha has now decided she no longer wants "bands" (rubber bands) in her hair. Thankfully, her hair is naturally curly...little water...add some mousse...she's cute as always. Stephanie now has enough hair she can start having "bands." Not much...like Samantha's first pony tails (top photo), we just take what we can get. Stephanie's hair is stick straight...any suggestions on what to do the day she decides she no longer wants "bands"?!!!! Pray saints, pray!

THE ZOO!

Hi everybody! The highlight of the St. Louis Trip for me was the zoo...I wish I could have stayed there all day! Here are some pictures...thanks to my mommy's friend Lisa who took most of them!

Hi everybody! Here's a quick overview of our trip to St. Louis...we went all over and met so many people. Of course, mommy didnt take pictures of nearly everything or all the people we spent time with...she was having so much fun she forgot! We went to picnics, weddings, parks, and the zoo...which we will show you next. Enjoy!
